Position Overview: Stevens Construction is seeking a detail-oriented team player to support the activities of a growing company! As an Accounting Assistant you will be responsible for daily accounting activities. Duties include timely and accurate entries, lien releases, and other responsibilities required for construction accounting. Duties/Responsibilities: • Input all accounts payable invoices and credit card receipts for vendors and suppliers into Timberscan and Sage 300. • Prepare all vendor releases. • Manage the vendor payment notifications via email and follow-up as needed • Manage lien releases for all jobs. • Work with project admin team to prepare release packages for owner funding. • Ensure all necessary items for payment processing are received prior to distribution of payment. • Manage distribution of all checks via in person, mail, FedEx, UPS, etc. • Manage subcontractor notice to owner (NTO) documents and ensure they are properly documented in a timely manner. • Manage the accounting job folders on OneDrive for all release and NTO’s. • Manage setting up of new vendors and maintaining existing vendor files.
