Job Description
We are seeking an Auto Glass Installer - Crew Leader to become a part of our team! You will lead a crew with the installation and repair of automotive glass including door glass, windshields and back glass in all types of transportation vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Manage & Supervise the installation and repair of automotive glass
- Help Operations Manager do any activities as assigned on a daily basis
- Furnish tools, materials and supplies to other workers as necessary (company provided)
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Track all equipment and supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Auto Glass Installation required
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
- Familiarity with maintenance tools, equipment & Power Tools
- Ability to handle physical workload outdoors in all weather
- Ability to work well in teams
- Ability to take instruction, correction & advice
- Able to speak to customers as needed including answering the phone on an infrequent basis.
Other Job Details:
- Typical Hours of 730am-530pm M-F, hours may vary
- Half days on Saturday, usually every 3rd(considered part of payment plan)
- Some days will require earlier start times and later off times (will give notice as soon as possible)
- No Scheduled break times as each job typically has down time intermixed for travel. Lunch break is at Crew Leader's discretion (no more than 30 minutes) although there is likewise plenty of time built in between jobs/tasks
Compensation:
- Multiple Options Depending On Candidate/Preference - Salary Preferred
- 1 week vacation after first 6 months
- 5 Paid Holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
