The Pasadena Branch of Meador Staffing has partnered with a Medical clinic near NRG stadium in their search for a dependable Medical Billing Specialist! This client requires you be fully vaccinated for COVID 19!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Research and resolve EMR/billing discrepancies, errors, corrections or duplicates to insure clean and accurate data and billing.

-Receive and respond promptly to requests for pre-authorization or insurance verification for new patients.

-Provide support for obtaining face sheetsand new account setup in the billing system.

-Initiate appropriate action and follow through on denials and complex authorization and pre-cert situations to secure proper payment.

-Prepare and monitor monthly VA Billing Contract invoices and Facility Bill invoices consistent with our internal protocol and tracking.

REQUIREMENTS:

-MUST have knowledge of medical terminology, medical billing codes (CPT and ICD-10), and EMR systems.

-MUST be familiar with various insurance payor sources such as Medicaid, Medicare and commercial and HMO insurers.

-Hands-on PC knowledge, Proficiency with Windows environment, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer).

-Experienced data entry; 10-key by touch

SCHEDULE: Temp to hire

M-F 8:30am- 5pm (30 MIN LUNCH)

PAY: $20/HR
