The Role at a Glance
As the Analyst, Business System Analysis for Retail Solutions, you will provide subject matter expertise, requirements, prioritization, testing, and direction on enhancements to AnnuityHQ for Agile Build Teams and the production support team. You will assist with production support, researching and analyzing issues and conveying the required remediation. You will also consult and collaborate with business stakeholders to define and validate complex information technology solutions that meet the needs, goals, and objectives for Lincoln’s Annuity business. You will act as a resource to applicable internal/external stakeholders.
This is a new position we are adding to keep up with the growing demand for solutions leveraging AnnuityHQ. This is an opportunity to join a growing team and offers a path for advancement as we continue to expand the capabilities and usage of AnnuityHQ.
What you'll be doing
Serves as Analyst prioritizing and coordinating the enhancements to AnnuityHQ for Build and Production Supprt Teams.
Writes up stories/requirements for Build Teams and AnnuityHQ enhancement work including all items necessary to align and be current with product releases.
Submits User Acceptance Criteria and completes User Acceptance Testing.
Assists with production support as needed for AnnuityHQ.
Assists with production support as needed for processes not currently in AnnuityHQ such as Valuation extracts.
Supports projects involved with AnnuityHQ as needed including converting outbound processes to AnnuityHQ or new inbound processes.
Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Consults and collaborates with internal and/or external stakeholders to determine more complex technical specifications from business requirements.
Using structured requirements process, clearly articulates, documents and validates more complex technical requirements.
Consults and acts as a resource to appropriate internal/external stakeholders to assess and deliver proposed more complex technical solutions which meet business requirements which may integrate process, business rules and business data with technology.
Collaborates effectively with appropriate stakeholders on more complex issues and conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality and risk of assigned projects.
Provides more complex technical research and analysis to support business operations needs and presents findings to management or project leader.
Escalates more complex issues/conflicts to management as needed.
Serves as a mentor and shares knowledge with junior team members.
May update reference tables as needed within the Operational Data Store.
What we’re looking for
4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) in Annuity Product Management (Minimum Required 3 - 5+ Years’ experience in business systems analysis in Individual Annuities (Required).
Experience navigating FW Vantage, Concord Vantage, and Repetitive Pay System (Preferred).
Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches.
Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend processes improvements.
Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
SQL and Database knowledge preferred, but not required
Working knowledge of Informatica Data Analyst tool and Teamwork preferred, but not required

Pay Range: $65,700 - $118,300
Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
