The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate Citi Global Wealth (CGW) Technology integration with Citi Consumer Technology across applications, processes, and products, making sure that Citi Global Wealth (CGW) Technology follow best solutions across organizational in line with latest market trends. The role will be partner closely across the organizations varied teams to deliver unified experiences, innovative technology solutions, and best in class products. The integration lead is a senior management-level position responsible for providing direction to a team to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Consumer Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

This role will report into the head of Citi Global Wealth Investments (CGWI). CGWI is accountable for delivering a competition crushing investments experience across the entire wealth spectrum. CGWI Technology delivers a full range of trading, portfolio management and advice across FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, Structured Products, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Estate and Managed Investments across North American, Europe and Asia.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leverage skills across Applications Development area to provide technical oversight across systems and applications

  • Oversee process for technical issue escalation and prioritize technical issue resolution

  • Communicate internal and external departmental interdependence as well as cross product and cross project

  • Resolve issues using in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within applications development

  • Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business processes, system processes, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement

  • Execute on the vision, mission, and focus for wealth technology that address the key investment and financial needs of our clients

  • Work in partnership with various Business and Technology teams to drive integrated technology solutions to increase product acquisitions, adoption, and usage from our wealth clients

  • Create a strategy across all technology components to accelerate delivery against aggressive business targets

  • Collaborate with product owners and markets for alignment on product offerings & campaign strategies

  • Drive Process re-engineering, standardization, and feasibility analysis along with global product operations leaders

  • Oversee the transition from strategy to implementation: from roadmap to releases and sprints, from epics to stories, validating the technology solutioning and architecture along the way

  • High level of interaction and synergy with business heads, product, operations, design, strategy, and analytics senior stakeholders to drive timely project implementation across all markets

  • Manage, inspire, and grow the existing technology organization and define best practices (e.g., architecture principles, build vs. buy, global reuse, frictionless partner integration, acceleration of end-to-end digitization and automation, modernization of assisted channels systems)

  • Responsible for delivery of Wealth Platforms across client segments in the wealth continuum.

  • Partner closely across all lines of business to fully align on the overall strategy and prioritization in accordance with the evolving P&L priorities, defining a technology strategy to drive commercial growth

  • Continuously focus on building and developing technology talent that has the business acumen and technical capability to deliver world class products in a connected, mobile environment

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets. This will be accomplished by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


  • 15+ years' experience in overall IT hands on knowledge and getting into the details

  • 10+ years’ experience managing large or multiple high performing business or technology development teams with demonstrable and measurable results.

  • Deep knowledge of wealth solutions, in both private bank and consumer wealth spaces with the ability to break down the work involved in solving them, and the impact of those decisions on business and product teams

  • Deep knowledge of trading, portfolio managements and risk are highly desired.

  • Experience with dependency management, change management, continuous integration testing tools, and audit/compliance requirements

  • Proven ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization and influence non-directs through data and a vision in a variety of contexts

  • Seasoned, passionate, and mission-driven digital technology professional with a demonstrated ability drive and manage the execution of a global vision, and deliver top-tier results

  • Demonstrated sound business judgment, analytical acumen, consumer-centric mindset and communication skills

  • Deep consumer product knowledge and passion around emerging technologies and how they will change consumer experience

  • The position requires strong interpersonal, communication & analytical skills to engage, negotiate & prioritize the actions during the complex & multi-faced situations to pursue the best outcome for Global Wealth Management
