Description:
This position covers portions of Construction Engineering and Management of Verizon Wireless sites. This is specific to SNAP (Nokia to Ericsson swaps) CBAND overlays, and some small cell deployments in WBV (Washington DC, Baltimore MD, NOVA) and surrounding areas. This could also include CBAND and NSB (New Site builds). This candidate will be responsible for overseeing and driving milestones across the wireless deployment process. This can include reviewing construction packages, working with internal and external teams to coordinate logistics, managing General Contractors through to the completion of construction, performing quality control, and most importantly; driving solid communication between Samsung (OEM), General Contractors, Customers, and internal Verizon teams. Will work heavily with equipment engineers under the construction org to provide a ton of logistical coordination and liaison between the GC's (Sitelink, KCI, NB+C, Nexius, etc). The job will be heavily focused on alleviating bottlenecks such material procurement, pushing construction along, and updating various databases along with internal and external customers. Verizon has 3 main material hubs called "pulling teams" that the candidate will interact with along with local "second sourcing" to stage equipment. MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important): - Solid Wireless Construction Management - High Volume Project Volume Experience - Excellent collaboration skills leveraging field. remote and in-office environment. DESIRED SKILLS: - Wireless Network Engineering or Operations experience - Project Management - Demand Planning Experience This is a Field, Remote, and very light office position. The expectation is the candidate is in the field 4-5 days a week performing site visits and interacting with all necessary parties. They will be driving their own vehicle, but will be getting mileage reimbursement.
