Overview of Job Function:
The Conversation AI Design & Developer is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing automated voice and messaging assistants (chatbots) for our customers. You will partner closely with our Customer Success, Product and Engineering team to analyze conversational data, identify areas for optimization, implement changes, and measure the impact on customer’s goals. Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
Work with our Customer Success team to build best-in-class automated voice and messaging assistants for our strategic customers.
Design and configure conversational flows on the Verint Platform per implementation design plan deliverables.
Provide ongoing NLU training (Natural Language Understanding) across all chatbots to ensure improved intelligence and a frictionless customer experience.
Conduct ongoing analysis of chatbot performance to provide optimization recommendations that deliver and exceed our customers KPI’s.
Proactively contribute to Verint’s strategic roadmap by providing platform feedback directly to our Product team.
Become the expert on the automated voice and messaging assistants, staying up to date on industry knowledge, trends and best practices.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in chatbot development/analysis
Passion for diving into large data sets to identify trends and make optimization recommendations
Confident learning new technology platforms and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across different offices and regions
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage tasks according to set priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Ability to present recommendations in a compelling and professional manner to clients
Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel
Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations
Technical understanding of API’s, SQL, NLP
Experience working with marketing platforms and technology
