Corporate Paralegal LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Corporate Paralegal for one of our Real Estate investment firms in Seattle, WA. The Corporate Paralegal will assist the Firm’s Corporate Counsel with transactional work, fund formation, and corporate governance. They will also be involved in operational matters... This person will manage multiple assignments and should have the ability to make decisions for themselves in a swift and efficient manner. They must be able to pay attention to detail while working under tight deadlines. Quick thinking and ability to shift gears on demand is essential to this role. The Corporate Paralegal will also be responsible for various administrative tasks like keeping track of the Corporate Counsel’s calendar, filing and organizing case filings, records, and various Real Estate documents. Responsibilities • Work as a team to develop new processes and procedures to improve efficiency as a whole • Provide additional support to operations and legal and compliance teams as needed • Draft entity formation and dissolution documents • Coordinate state registrations and qualifications • Obtain EIN’s • Prepare and maintain W-9’s for all entities • Assist investment team with signing & closing checklists, ancillary transaction documents signature page packets and tracking execution status of documents • Coordinate the execution of corporate approvals • Review and process KYC/AML requests • Communicate with counterparties regarding case status and ongoing issues • File and organize case filings, records, and various Real Estate documents Skills/Experience • Must have Bachelors degree • Paralegal Certificate from ABA approved program and notary certification preferred • 5+ years of corporate paralegal experience at a law firm or in-house legal department • Experience in private equity, real estate, and/or financial services sector • Ability to pay attention to detail while working on tight deadlines • Strong communication skills • Ability to work independently and as a team • Strong desire for client service mindset and an understanding of keeping strict confidentiality. • Advanced knowledge in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • analytical, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills are a must Salary: $100,000 – 140,000 per year If this position sounds well-suited to your background– apply today for immediate consideration!
