Job description We are looking for part time delivery drivers for this busy- Drivers need to have their own delivery vehicle i.e. SUV, Mini Van, cargo van, or Transit high tops. Having the right size vehicle for the job will help determine how much you will make. We need drivers who are hard working, dependable, self reliant, works well under pressure, works well with others, enjoys working... alone, good time management skills, and want to join our busy delivery team. With the use of your smart phone and delivery app technology for routing and delivering, the work is relatively EASY. You will have a learning curve and contracted training. You will be loading your own vehicle. You will be delivering small/medium packages to homes and businesses in dense areas/ rural areas. Positions Available- • Part time Driver Delivery Driver Duties and Responsibilities • Ensure inventory stock matches delivery requirements • Load and organize product inventory from the warehouse into your vehicle and unload products in and out of the truck as needed throughout the day • Follow scheduled route for daily deliveries • Ensure products are delivered in a timely manner • Collect signature or payment if necessary upon arrival to the recipient client • Document delivery time and location • Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy • Maintain truck to ensure it remains in good driving condition Delivery Driver Requirements and Qualifications • Must be 21 or older-18 with your own vehicle. • Having your own delivery van is a plus • High school diploma or GED certificate • Valid driver’s license • Proficient at driving and parking • Physically fit and strong, able to lift up to 70 pounds comfortably • Experience using hand trucks • Dependable and hardworking What Next?
