The Digital Experience Planning Lead role works closely with the Marketing Team, Medical, Legal and Regulatory Reviewers and our Agile Digital Delivery partners across a Therapeutic Area. The role is responsible for leading effective planning to enable delivering upon digital experiences aligned to strategic initiatives that are core to AstraZeneca's digital transformation, improved patient experiences and business outcomes.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Leads Digital Experience Planning to enable Omnichannel capabilities, Content Strategy and programs that deliver on Business priorities
  • Acts as a digital champion and change agent in leading transformation in partnership with our Digital Experience Planning team and key stakeholders
  • Leads in a structured oriented approach to deliver excellence in an end-to-end material review and approval process
  • Engages in an agile approach to strategically develop and implement new and improved capabilities, processes and technology related to delivering compliant content with speed to market and creative freedom
  • Builds strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholder teams and partners
  • Works with the Digital Planning Director and Therapeutic Area Digital Lead to identify improvement opportunities and lead change across the organization related Content Planning capabilities

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with brand strategic and operational planning processes and content platforms
  • Independent self-starter with demonstrated program management skillset
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, content strategy and content planning processes
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communications
  • Ability to work in a matrix team environment
  • Experience using project management software to plan, monitor and communicate project progress
  • Demonstrated success in:
    • program management of strategic and/or business critical initiatives
    • leading cross-functional teams/ability to lead without authority
    • leading and managing change across large stakeholder teams including, in some instances, external outsourced resource partners
  • 3-5 years Digital Marketing or Agency related experience

Preferred Background:
  • Experience with Pharmaceutical brand strategic, operational planning processes and content platforms
  • Knowledge of digital health
  • Knowledge of the MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) Planning regarding the development and approval of promotional content that enable the delivery of multi-channel and omnichannel campaigns
  • Strategic Project Management, SAFe Agile (Sprint/MVP focused) planning experience and/or certification
  • Understanding of scientific and/or commercial marketplace respective to biopharmaceutical therapeutic area(s)
