Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Are you ready to lead a large team that executes eDiscovery case work for the world’s largest retailer? The Director of eDiscovery Case Management is a critical role on the Global Governance Strategy and Operations team that will develop proactive strategies and processes to improve our internal processes, workflows, and technologies.

You’ll make an impact by…

  • Oversee a global team of eDiscovery professionals and their case management activities, including advisement on complex cases and review strategies

  • Continual development and integration of best practices, advanced analytics, and quality control standards into our eDiscovery workflows

  • Leverage data and analytics to proactively identify trends, spot risks, and measure performance of the internal team and our external service providers

  • Collaborate directly with eDiscovery Counsel and other leaders to proactively address risk and advise on the strategic direction of the eDiscovery program

  • Drive customer service and strong partnerships with key groups in the organization including our Forensic Collection Lab, Global Investigations, Litigation, and Third-Party Subpoenas

  • Lead our in-house training program to educate team members and key stakeholders on new technologies, emerging ESI sources, and industry best practices

You’ll sweep us off our feet if… 

  • You’re a subject matter expert in eDiscovery review and analytics platforms, including RelativityOne

  • You have experience using technology assisted review (TAR) techniques and drafting ESI protocols

  • You can identify information governance best practices that improve eDiscovery workflows

  • You have a proven track record leading team(s) and developing a high-performance culture

  • You are skilled at using technology, data, analytics and other tools to inform case decisions

  • You are comfortable building relationships, leveraging internal partnerships, and working collaboratively on a cross-functional team

  • You can develop strategies, goals and plans to lead a team and define KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

  • You have successfully led through transformative change

  • You have a bias towards action and execution

  • You are process-minded and actively seek out opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness

  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills and can confidently interact with senior leadership and stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 5 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. Option 3: 7 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. 2 years' supervisory experience.
