DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Education Administration Associate, you will review claims and supporting documentation, processes claims, and reviews and submits mandated federal reports for the school nutrition programs. Responsibilities will include, providing advisory services to more than 1,000 public and private sponsors of the school nutrition programs, a pproving online applications from sponsors of School Nutrition Programs, reviewing and processing one time exemption approvals, and d eveloping, reviewing or certifying, and submitting school nutrition program reports.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.

  • Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.

  • Telework: You will have the opportunity to work part-time from home (telework). Staff is required to report to the worksite every Thursday, but is subject to change depending on work requirements. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of professional experience in education or educational administration; or

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
