Wastewater and Water Resources Office Engineer - 2975 Transportation and Infrastructure New York, New York White Plains, New York Description STV is a nationally recognized leader for delivering value and excellence in construction management, engineering, architecture, planning and environmental services, and is seeking a Wastewater and Water Resources Office Engineer for a field assignment in Maspeth, Queens with a home office in New York, NY or White Plains, NY. Key responsibilities will include managing multi-disciplined design and construction management assignments for wastewater and water resource projects. As a construction phase project engineer, duties would include managing and implementing the quality assurance management plan (QMP), conducting quality audits, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures for quality and related QA/QC duties. Duties also include managing and auditing a Contractors quality assurance program, with emphasis on large concrete placements, site work, deep excavations, piling systems, ground freezing, water shafts and tunnels, water distribution systems and material handling. Duties also include construction permit compliance monitoring and management. Applicant should have experience in developing and managing construction permits. Other duties may include: Draft Redline Drawings (shop and contract) from inspector information collected during one on one meetings with inspectors as needed based on work-flow (Bluebeam and field work) Coordinate RFD and RFI as built modification (Bluebeam, AutoCAD) Assist with Final Copy Shop Drawing Process and Red line Drawings resolution Assist in bringing to completion Inspection logs and checklist started by others. Coordinate local office IT issues (printer, copier, etc.) and on boarding of new inspectors related to local IT Photo Log maintenance. Assist as needed with other office engineering duties and document control between the two sites. The ideal candidate will have a background in wastewater or water construction inspection, engineering, management and quality assurance and construction permit development. NYC DEP design and/or construction experience is a must. Required Skills: The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical, civil, chemical, electrical, environmental) or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience. Excellent writing and presentation skills a must. PE, CQM, CCM and/or ENV SP Certification a plus.
