JOB SUMMARY:
A seasonal supervisor position with the responsibility of overseeing the complete daily operation of costume characters, and character escorts.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Ensure that team members and guests abide by all policies and procedures while on the property.
Provides efficient, effective communication to all team members and maintains a clear level of communication with Entertainment Management staff.
Provide on-the-job training for the Character and Character Escort team members.
Ensure Character Appearances go as scheduled. Make adjustments to the appearance schedules as needed.
Launder costumes as scheduled.
Ensure character staff maintains the costumes on a daily basis.
Provide the scheduling team with any employee adjustments.
Daily use of a walkie-talkie and vehicle for transportation of crew.
Work in close proximity to potentially large crowds of people.
Maintain a clean working environment both in guest view and behind the scenes.
Resolve guest concerns that may arise on a daily basis.
Complete daily paperwork.
Other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned by the Admin. Managerial Supervisor or Entertainment Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid Georgia Driver’s License.
Communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language.
Must be able to work 30-40 hours a week or more, including a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays, etc.)
React well in stressful and emergency situations.
Excellent organizational skills, a strong sense of initiative, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong work ethic, with the ability to work well under pressure.
Be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Be safety conscious, while also outgoing with a friendly demeanor.
Be willing to actively engage guests.
Computer proficiency with an emphasis on Microsoft Office Products.
Previous in-park theme park experience preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Continued standing and bending.
Eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech. Manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition.
Stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day; walk over 3 miles per day over various surfaces.
Lift and carry 15 lbs. over 25 feet over various surfaces; lift and lower 10 lbs. above shoulder level.
