Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in Fairfax, Virginia . This position will provide direct support to the Missions and Payloads Division under Autonomous Systems .

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads and manages our Procurement Compliance and Self-Governance plan.
  • Engages in various internal and external Customer compliance audits and presentations.
  • Leads team Procurement Agent training, coaching and mentoring.
  • Sets own priorities in order to meet multiple demands and unanticipated business needs, and adjusts where needed under changing circumstances or conditions.
  • Leads development of processes and tools to measure key performance indicators.
  • Develops and maintains standard supplier contractual terms, conditions and special clauses and agreements.
  • Analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance indicators.
  • Leads high-level communications to senior leadership.
  • Communicates strategic initiatives, projects or procurement activities.
  • Leads cross-functional process management activities.
  • Leads self-assessment and audit teams to identify and implement corrective action.
  • Leads efforts to mitigate risk and resolve issues to high-risk programs.

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in Fairfax, Virginia .

This position is for 1st shift.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 3 years of experience with Excel, Access, or other database management.
  • More than 3 years of experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations.
  • More than 3 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.
  • More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management.
  • More than 3 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • More than 3 years of experience in building and presenting plans or recommendations to executive leadership.
  • More than 3 years of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions.

Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $100,300 - $138,060
