Oracle Customer Success Services provides unmatched, tailored support that ensures our client's Oracle technology investments deliver the cutting-edge innovation and performance their business requires to compete—all while coexisting within their IT environment.
We are looking for a new Federal Pre-Sales Engineer to join Oracle's premiere CSS Pre-Sales team.
You will be responsible for providing technical / functional support to prospective and existing customers with minimal supervision. Activities are primarily oriented around the following areas:
Support the sales process for a Customer Success Services Sales across a wide range of technical opportunities specific to Gov Cloud and high-compliance workloads.
Articulate the value of CSS services in clear, customer-focused language.
Create detailed and accurate solutions, including to-be architecture and build of materials. Collaborate with Sales, Customer, and Partners to validate solution.
Use Oracle tools to produce timely quotes.
Develop and deliver high-quality presentations to educate customers and close the technical sale of new and upsell business.
Design, validate, and present Oracle PaaS and IaaS cloud solutions to include advanced cloud service concepts, service roadmaps, strategic direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.
Collaborate across Oracle lines of business to build comprehensive, end-to-end solutions that solve customer challenges.
Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor experience. 5 years relevant PaaS and IaaS cloud services. Demonstrated proficiency in cloud solution architecture design. Thorough knowledge of cloud service design and network architecture. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, relationship building techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.

California Pay Range: from $51.25 to $96.78 per hour; from $106,600 to $201,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
Colorado Pay Range: from $51.97 to $96.78 per hour; from $108,100 to $201,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
New York City Pay Range: from $52.26 to $96.78 per hour; from $108,700 to $201,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
Washington Pay Range: from $52.26 to $96.78 per hour; from $108,700 to $201,300 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35 - 80/20.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
