The University of Missouri Chemical Engineering Program in the Department of Biomedical, Biological & Chemical Engineering has an open position for a postdoctoral fellow. The research work is related to synthesis, characterization, and testing of highly active oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) catalysts for PEM fuel Cells.
A PhD degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or related engineering or science discipline is required by the start of the appointment.
Candidates will be evaluated on:
- Experience in synthesis of highly active ORR catalysts
- Experience in various electrochemical analysis techniques
- Experience in materials characterizations, including use of TEM
- Good record of journal publications in the relevant field
- Good written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong motivation to conduct high quality research
