Who is the Global High-Tech Industry Practice?

Capgemini focuses on 11 priority Industry sectors, including ‘High-Tech.’ High-Tech is a broad group of sectors, including Consumer Electronics, Networking, Computer Hardware, Software, Platforms (including Hyper-scalers) and Semiconductors. The Semiconductor sector is made up to Fabless Semi, Capital Equipment, and IDMs / Foundries. The Global High-Tech Industry Practice defines strategy, creates offers to bring to market, leads industry marketing, builds community and expertise, and supports large account sales.

Capgemini in the Semiconductor Industry

To build on Capgemini’s global position in Strategy (Invent) and Technology Services, Capgemini acquired the world’s largest Engineering Services firm Altran in 2019 creating Capgemini Engineering Research & Development (ER&D).Capgemini Engineering notably includes a differentiated services powerhouse in Silicon Engineering, based notably on the world’s largest chip design ER&D services workforce (2000 engineers) with experience and expertise in the most advances nodes. Capgemini also brings deep technological expertise to Semiconductor clients building ‘chip to industry’ solutions. The ER&D practice has thousands of world-class software engineers in the Software Product Engineering practice building bespoke solutions in Semiconductor.
