Job Summary:

The Human Resource Intern will provide support to the Human Resources (HR) department through multiple administrative and customer service avenues. This is a great learning opportunity for individuals pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, Operations, or related fields to learn some of the key areas of HR and HR-related tasks required for essential business functions.


  • Support recruitment activities

  • Data entry into HRIS

  • Auditing personnel files

  • Participation in department and recruitment meetings

  • Other projects as determined based on department needs and student interests

    Education and Experience:

  • Pursuing a Bachelors/Graduate degree in Human Resources, Business, or related fields

    Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to hear and communicate with clients and staff via phone and in person

  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Must have vision that is adequate to read memo’s computer screen, registration forms, and other documents.

  • Must possess manual dexterity, to perform writing and keyboarding tasks.

  • Must be able to sit for extended period of time

  • OSHA Level III
