City Winery is seeking a people enthusiast with a passion for music, food, wine, and parties to join our team as an HR Coordinator. This role will serve as a cultural champion and provide support for a wide variety of human resources activities including day-to-day personnel administration, onboarding and hiring processes, and much more. This individual should have a flexible, self-starter mindset and a desire to grow in the world of Human Resources.
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a human resources coordinator role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Prior experience utilizing HRIS software.
• Able to deliver effective results, meet deadlines and targets.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate skill level of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with all internal divisions.
• Must be organized and detail oriented and be effective in the use of time management.
• Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations.
• Able to work on a broad variety of projects.
Overview of Responsibilities
• General personnel administration, maintenance, and follow up including filing, scanning, reporting.
• Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.
• Redirect HR related inquiries, calls, messages and distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team.
• Support and handle pre-employment onboarding administrative processes.
• Conduct all necessary pre-employment duties for onboarding of new hires.
• Maintain confidential personnel files with all necessary documents as required by state and federal regulations.
• Assist in ad hoc HR projects, tasks, and other duties as needed.
• Perform any and all other related functions, projects, initiatives as per business need.
