What you'll do:
- Contribute to exceptional employee engagement and support of all business and people initiatives
- Communicate and support consistency on human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, regulations and strategies
- Communicate and support plant business priorities, employee insights to ensure the location is meeting HR and business strategies
- Assist in non-elevated employee relations issues, such as employee concerns, work-related issues, etc.
- Support and implement recruiting, staffing, on-boarding and orientation activities
- Communicate and support business needs with supporting data and recommend HR solutions that support business goals
- Support change initiatives as identified by HR leader and assist with communication, identifying gaps and developing solutions
- Assist in promoting and identifying talent and leadership development
- Help to provide counseling/coaching for plant leadership regarding employee/labor relation matters.
- Support plant level annual HR initiatives such as compensation planning, performance management, employee engagement, recognition, community outreach, etc.
- Support project management, reporting, analysis, action plans and organizational assessments as needed
