This Human Resource Manager will have hands on experience in Human Resources and be versed in the areas of benefits, workforce planning, recruitment and staffing strategies, wage and salary administration, colleague and labor relations, workforce training and development, colleague counseling and local diversity initiatives. This position will manage the HSSC Human Resources team and the day to day operations of the Human Resources office. The HR Manager will report to the Human Resources Director (HRD). This person must have the ability to run a human resource office in the HRD’s absence. The Human Resources function prides itself on excellence, service, integrity and accountability.?
Essential Functions
Manage a team of 3 HR Professionals
Hiring
Training
Performance development
Coaching
Contribute to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems
Uphold compliance with multistate and federal regulations
Support company Diversity initiatives including Hyatt’s Affirmative Action practices.
Support team development by identifying skill gaps and training needs
Work with leadership to resolve colleague relations issues
Conduct colleague relations investigations as necessary
Assist leadership with colleague performance and development meetings including terminations
Manage training and development including but not limited to
Internal Leadership Training
New Hire Orientation Training
HR Departmental Training
Compliance Training
Manage recruiting for direct and temporary staffing needs including but not limited to
Interviewing

Applicant tracking system reporting
Seek viable candidate sourcing options and assist all departments with workforce planning, and analyze hiring data to seek opportunities for improvement.
Use a combination of recruiting techniques to attract, evaluate, network and hire successful candidates.
Evaluate job descriptions and contact department management when updates are necessary.?
Represent Hyatt at local networking and recruiting events
Manage VISA and PERM process requirements for select employees working with legal team to ensure all data is accurate and reported
Retrieve data and run reports in HRIS to assist with
Regular HR Data Auditing
Internal and Sox Compliance Auditing
Support Leave of Absence Vendor/Team
Support HR Director withcompensation analysis, wage surveys and market data research, as needed.
Assist with oversite of center wide colleague events and onsite meetings.
Assist with site wide safety and workers compensation compliance
Participation in colleague events, onsite meetings, and industry conferences is expected.
Regular attendance is expected based on schedule and business needs.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
2 years’ experience Leading an HR team
2 years’ experience HR Management including employee relations and recruiting
4 years HR generalist experience
1 year working experience with an HRIS
1 year Microsoft Office Suite?
High school diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree a plus
?HR Certification a plus
?Some travel required
