HUMAN TRAFFICKING FELLOW

ICF seeks a Pembrook fellow with interest in working on projects related to human trafficking, to better understand contracting spaces that support anti-trafficking efforts across different federal clients. Those who represent communities most at-risk of trafficking are strongly encouraged to apply. Those with lived experience of human trafficking are strongly encouraged to apply. This position is located within the ICF Victim Services (https://www.icf.com/work/social-programs/victim-services) portfolio, where we develop the professional skills of the service providers who support vulnerable, exploited, and victimized populations through training, effective management, and leadership institutes. Our training and technical assistance (TTA) is data-informed, supported by evaluation, and adapted based on feedback from those using the materials developed in the field. We also perform collaborative needs assessments, draw from focus groups and learning circles, and rely upon subject matter expertise. Our experts are intentionally diverse and bring on-the-ground experience and responses to victims of mass violence, human trafficking, hate crimes, financial management, tribal victim assistance, sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, compassion fatigue/vicarious trauma, community-based violence, serving survivors of homicide, and supporting victims with disabilities.

This is a 14-month position beginning in June 2023.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications

  • Create social media content for various HT projects related to upcoming trainings and tools available

  • Create thoughtful, survivor inclusionary branding for ICF website/ social media

Programmatic Admin/Operations

  • Examine and assess evaluation feedback with the team;

  • Work collaboratively to identify areas of opportunity for internal structures, processes, staff training and team synergy within the HT practice area.

  • Review our consultant onboarding plan and make suggestions for improvement.

  • Create a survey to get feedback from our consultants and partner organizations.

  • Additional tasks as assigned and agreed upon

The work will require collaboration with several projects. The candidate must be organized and capable of managing time effectively, plan and carry out concurrent activities and display sensitivity to the confidential nature of federal client work and of the communications between ICF and clients.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years experience training and educating in general nature of the criminal justice and human trafficking fields.

  • Pembrook Fellowship participant required

Professional Skills:

  • Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing, demonstrated highly professional demeanor

  • Ability to create and manage timelines, and collaborate with other teams to complete a project deliverable

  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Teams

  • Strong proofreading skills with careful attention to detail

  • Desire to learn and ask questions

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work with various levels of internal staff

  • Ability to work autonomously and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to create and manage timelines and collaborate with the team to complete a project deliverable

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is :

$51,333.00 - $87,267.00
