Overview:

Electronic Systems, Inc. (ESI), A Xerox Company, is hiring an Inside Sales Support Representative who provide support to the outside sales account managers which allows the team to achieve maximum profitability and productivity in line with company vision and values. Provide excellent customer service as an additional customer contact. Our Inside Sales Support Representatives who succeed in this role take ownership of the situation presented and know how to prioritize to ensure a positive resolution. This is a dynamic role that requires a flexible proactive professional who has a vested interest and is accountable.

Responsibilities:

  • Help customers select products based on the customers' needs, product specifications, and interests.

  • Respond to customers' requests for pricing, availability, and product uses and creative ideas, and samples.

  • Prepare quotations according to bid specifications, with accurate configurations.

  • Participate and complete required vendor and internal sales training.

  • Participate in formal bid requests as required.

  • Learn and leverage different manufacturer promotions and contracts.

  • Register deal opportunities that require manufacturer sales registration that yield additional front-end or back-end funds.

  • Compare vendor and distributor pricing to find or initiate most aggressive cost pricing possible.

  • Respond and assist customers that call in with a need or question.

  • Order entry and tracking.

  • Participate in proactive selling techniques such as warm calling to existing customers.

  • Create and maintain standardized price lists for existing customers as requested.

  • Participate in meetings with sales representative(s) to discuss any projects, account issues, accounts receivable issues, inventory issues, etc.

  • Perform at or exceed team and individual revenue and profit sales goals as assigned by manager(s).

  • Help manage and coordinate customer projects, roll-out and deployments.

  • Complete administrative reports for commissions, open orders, and other sales history reports requested by internal and external customers.

  • Work with vendors on all product returns and cancellations, along with processing internal paperwork required.

  • Participate in the development of workflows surrounding specific customer procurement processes such as ServiceNow, Equalevel, Exostar, Ariba, etc.

  • Assist Operations with the maintenance of inventory levels by working closely with distributors on project and order roll-out.

  • Provide feedback to management for continual process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Demonstrated general knowledge of computers, networking, servers, storage components and configurations,

  • Detail-oriented.

  • Ability to multitask.

  • Outstanding customer (internal and external) service.

  • Good time management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Self-directed, adaptable and positive.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Willingness to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Fully competent at MS Office.

  • Proven ability to learn software and accounting programs.
