Position Responsibilities Include:

New family phone calls

Schedule initial consults with new families

Meet with families for consult and intake appointment

  • Mobile out to meet with families at CI s regional clinic locations
  • Assist families in determining the best services for their child
  • Investigate insurance and funding sources
  • Collaborate with billing and insurance team to obtain initial authorizations for services
  • Collaborate with scheduling team to create ongoing family schedule

Collect intake paperwork, insurance and funding source information, and scheduling preferences

Check in with new families at the following junctures:

  • Intake
  • After completion of first appointment
  • 3 months
  • 6 months

Ensure new families receive welcome packet

Send survey and follow-up correspondence to any families being discharged from therapy

Track and analyze data of families discharged or dismissed from services

Analyze data on service utilization

All other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of insurance and billing terminology

Skilled communicator, both oral and written

Ability to problem solve

Ability to work collaboratively within a remote team

Knowledge of OT/PT/ST and specialty therapies (music, art, recreational therapy)

Knowledge of insurance and billing terminology

This position is 1.0 FTE. The companys hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
