What You’ll Be Doing:
The Evolent Client Analytics (CA) Internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students to get exposed to the health care industry in an Analytics-focused role with a heavy focus on data, technical programming, and industry stakeholder exposure.
Who You’ll Be Working With:
The Evolent Client Analytics (CA) Intern will work directly with a CA preceptor and other CA team members as a strategic partner to our largest Medicaid Client.
What You’ll Be Doing:
We are seeking candidates with a strong desire to learn along with professional drive. The Intern is expected to take on responsibilities including documenting key processes, attending regularly scheduled team meetings, and responding to data requests via a technical programming language or the Evolent Analytics Identifi Plan Performance business intelligence tool. A major component of the internship is a capstone student project that meaningfully contributes to a departmental objective. Students can expect to spend 4 to 6 hours on the capstone project each week.
Experience You’ll Need (Required):
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship
Strong academic track record
Experience in healthcare, public policy, social justice, analytics, or related field
Passion for improving health care delivery and patient outcomes
Finishing Touches (Preferred):
0-1 year of analytics, or healthcare experience
Familiar with SAS and/or SQL programming languages or Business Intelligence tools
Basic understanding of data systems and administrative healthcare claims data
Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

Compensation Range: The minimum salary for this position is $20.00, plus benefits. Salaries are determined by the skill set required for the position and commensurate with experience and may vary above and below the stated amounts.
