LinkUs is seeking an experienced, IDAHO-LICENSED Journeyman Electrician to provide guidance and technical knowledge for a photovoltaic (solar) installation team. In this position, the licensed Journeyman Electrician will communicate the necessary job status data to the operations team to assure the successful operation and instillation of a complete and working system. Responsibilities
Installing and maintaining the electrical equipment and wiring that connects the photovoltaic system to the electrical grid
Installation of PV mounting systems and PV modules when necessary
Ensure that all work performed complies with 2020 NEC code and workmanship
Communicate the necessary job status data to the Operations team
Be knowledgeable and comply with OSHA safety standards for the installation team
Troubleshooting system problems and resolving electrical issues
Train, mentor, and develop apprentices
Qualifications
Valid state Journeyman Electricians License - required
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Experience installing photovoltaic (solar) systems, preferred but not required
Experience with data communications and monitoring systems, preferred
Experience with grid-tied and off-grid battery and/or generator backup systems is a plus
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Required Skills
Working knowledge and ability to interpret and apply 2020 NEC requirements to PV systems
Experience reading and interpreting one-line drawings and electrical schematics
Must have working knowledge and experience replacing residential and commercial electrical services and distribution panels
Must be able to work with high voltage systems 600Vdc to 1500Vdc
Must be able to work with services 240Vac, 208Vac, and 480Vac in single and three-phase systems (and other variations)
Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, crawl spaces)
Must be willing and able to climb ladders, and stairs and work in high places
Capable of lifting 50 lbs
