Short Description for Internal Candidates

The B2C Product Sales Specialist (PSS) will be part of a team of Product Specialists focused on Core Payment Rails such as ACH, Check, and Prepaid Card. Additionally in scope will be Emerging Payment rails such as Real Time Payments, Zelle, Push to Card, Push to Wallet, Account Validation, and other digital solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will champion client facing Business to Consumer (B2C) solutions and assist Treasury Services Sales teams in achieving their revenue goals. The B2C PSS serves as a firmwide subject matter expert on digital B2C disbursements and supports Sales Teams with client needs identification, solution recommendations, pricing, client presentations, demonstrations, and RFP support.

Description for Internal Candidates

Business Unit: The North American Core Payment Rails Product team delivers solutions to our clients that allow them to streamline and electronify their Payables operations.

The B2C Product Sales Specialist (PSS) will be part of a team of Product Specialists focused on Core Payment Rails such as ACH, Check, and Prepaid Card. Additionally in scope will be Emerging Payment rails such as Real Time Payments, Zelle, Push to Card, Push to Wallet, Account Validation, and other digital solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will champion client facing Business to Consumer (B2C) solutions and assist Treasury Services Sales teams in achieving their revenue goals. The B2C PSS serves as a firmwide subject matter expert on digital B2C disbursements and supports Sales Teams with client needs identification, solution recommendations, pricing, client presentations, demonstrations, and RFP support.

The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between Product Management and Sales, keeping Sales up-to-date on the products, while providing regular feedback to Product owners around new client requirements, competitive information, etc. Importantly, the B2C PSS as an advocate for their products with the Sales Teams, continually looking for ways to make it easier for sales to identify revenue opportunities and sell their products successfully.

Job-related skill and experience-based competency selection factors:

  • 5+ years of Treasury Services product and/or sales experience

  • Experience with payables/channel products including Real Time Payments, Zelle, Prepaid Card, Push to Card, Push to Wallet, check disbursements, ACH and fraud prevention tools (such as EWS)

  • Proven ability to problem solve and communicate complex information in a clear, concise manner

  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with people at varying levels inside and outside the Firm

  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with clients in a decentralized and wide geographic environment

  • Demonstrated self-starter

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to the Head of CIB B2C PSS

  • Provide product expertise to construct solutions to meet client requirements by utilizing core cash product set and 3rd party partner integrations.

  • Liaison to product management teams and sales partners.

  • Facilitate information regarding market trends and client feedback to product management teams.

  • Facilitate information regarding product strategy, road maps, and development information to sales partners and clients.

  • Supply product knowledge and build solutions within RFP's and RFIs. Help lead the overall deal management process by providing strategic pricing and coordination between internal teams.

  • Provide support to sales partners within potential deal finalist meetings.

  • Deliver presentations at industry relevant conferences.

  • Support internal partners such as service teams, implementations, and relationship management teams with product related client issues and inquiries.

  • Provide informative product demos to clients.

  • Provide client pipeline and market landscape trends to internal teams and management.

  • Proactively pursue business opportunities, including aspirational deals

  • Proactively support Sales with client needs identification, solution recommendations and pricing

Specific Experience, Knowledge, Education, Training and/or Skills Required for Job:

  • BA/BS in business required

  • Excellent communication skills - both oral and written

  • Strong client presentation skills

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Strong influencing skills

  • Ability to think creatively

  • Proven ability to 'close deals'

  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Excel and PowerPoint
