JOB SUMMARY Provides care to patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics under the direct supervision of a physician. Must be task oriented in an arena that can be fast paced. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education and/or experience: Requires current LPN licensure in the State of Tennessee. Previous experience preferred by not required. Attends/participates in appropriate continuing education programs. Knowledge: Knowledge of basic nursing principals and protocols. Knowledge of infection control procedures, safety precautions, administration of medications and treatment protocols. Skills: Appropriate assessment and assistant techniques, excellent patient care putting the needs of the patient/family above all else. Abilities: Effective interaction with patient, family and staff. Able to work and remain on task in a fast paced and stressful environment. Able to document pertinent information in the electronic medical record.
