Put your outstanding spin on the Gale story as you apply it to writing across multiple channels and formats—all while accurately applying Gale's brand voice and content guidelines. You’ll also be proficient in web copywriting and SEO standard processes to ensure your content makes the biggest impact possible online. Gale is an innovative force in the education market, delivering learning technology, content, and services for academic, public, and school libraries. Primary Responsibilities: + Build clear, engaging, and consistent content for a variety of marketing campaigns to nurture customer relationships and drive action. + Ensure grammatical accuracy, message clarity, and a consistent style and voice across all content. + Write copy for all channels and formats, including web pages, emails, insight briefs, white papers, sponsored articles, infographics, blogs, sell sheets, social media posts, event and trade show promotions, video scripts, webinar descriptions, social ads, and more. + Apply writing strategies for the digital world, integrating SEO standard processes into all web content. + Proofread copy and review page layouts with keen attention to detail. + Collaborate with multiple teams about layout and design to effectively convey the brand spirit and a unique customer value. + Embrace the style and tone for different campaigns and audiences without ever deviating from the Gale brand voice. + Write on unfamiliar topics, supplementing with research as needed. Knowledge/Skills/Experience: + Validated study in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field. + 5+ years of professional experience writing, ideally in marketing or content marketing + Possess exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. + Complete work in a timely manner and with strong attention to detail. + Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects at once, and meet deadlines. + Collaborate across teams to make marketing messages that resonate and inspire action. + Be well-versed in Chicago Manual of Style conventions. + Have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and enjoy technology, including cloud collaboration tools, web content management systems, social media platforms, and digital asset management systems (experience with Workfront is a plus!).
