Position Title Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic Coordinator Department Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Division School of Medicine Vacancy Number 23-098 Work Location Atlanta, GA Job Type Full-time Job Category Staff Responsibilities In this position, the Marriage Family Therapy (MFT) Clinic Coordinator provides direct administrative and clinical oversight of the day to day functions of the Mercer Family Therapy Center in Atlanta. This position also provides assistance to the Assistant/Associate Program Director in Atlanta. Position reports to the Assistant Program Director in Atlanta and the MFT Program Director. Position provides support for administration of the MFT program in Atlanta. Responsibilities include assigning new clients and scheduling intakes, monitoring student caseloads, training and monitoring of compliance on all clinic policies and procedures, updating clinic policies and procedures, point of contact for clinical emergencies, and overall monitoring of clinical charts and client files. Position also assists with data management, creation of assessment reports, and coordination of all web-based assessment systems. Critical position to manage master's level training clinic and to develop instruments that reflect data to demonstrate that accreditation requirements have been achieved or to demonstrate where areas of weakness may exist. This position will require excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, and superior knowledge of developing /using web based assessment reports and other software. Required Qualifications A master's degree from an accredited college/university in a mental health related field (psychology, social work, criminal justice, professional counseling, etc.) meeting requirements for licensure in the respective field of study is required, along with prior experience working in a mental health clinic. Candidates must have or be license eligible in Georgia as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW Knowledge/Skills/Abilities * Knows how to construct assessment tables to capture accreditation data * Knowledge to develop assessment tools that will mine data * Exceptional data base management skills * Ability to be flexible due to multiple task required * Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student or client health information * Ability to learn clinical tools such as TheraNest, LearningSpace, and Supervision Assist Is a criminal background check needed for this position?
