Coordinates the internal flow of material and in process manufactured hardware to support manufacturing schedules and operations commitments for engineering and production programs. Support the manufacturing process by performing inventory management and the associated material support and documentation maintenance activities.
This is a key role that performs physical and systemic transactions in Oracle for Close outs, Mass Transfers and Complex Inventory Projects for our customers. This role also reviews all material before it is returned to stock from the bond room, ITSRs and the production floor, ensuring that all quality and quantity criteria are met, having a direct impact on our KPIs for Inventory accuracy and on time delivery to our customers.
Prepares and verifies assembly kits to meet pre-scheduled release dates using pick list. Selects stock using first in-first out system, checks and records receiving date, vendor date code (when required) and quantity issued. Interfaces with materials and production personnel to resolve materials shortages. Responds to requests for materials needed for engineering or production programs, works from computerized reports. Ensures that materials are properly packaged or repackaged per required special handling specifications, when necessary, in electrostatic bags or as otherwise specified. Labels and stocks in specified bins or fills back-order requirements, both for the assembly floor or kits in process. Arranges for pickup of completed assembly kits or point of use (POU) material for designated areas. Performs cycle counts, audits and physical inventories. Audits inventory records for accuracy on a regular basis. Checks actual stock against amounts recorded. Ensures that all required materials are properly identified with safety information and handling labels in conformance with Company and OSHA guidelines. Verifies quantity, and conformance of materials to stated identifications and documentation. Works with Oracle and other computer systems including both in-house programs and customer portals.
Verifies kind, count and condition of incoming material to prepare for put away in the Master Stores areas. Ensures material is packaged correctly for storage following guidelines set forth in command media. Documents missing or damaged parts and completes necessary paperwork. Adheres to company guidelines regarding the proper storage requirements including the handling of classified and/or hazardous materials. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Requires a minimum of High School education and at least 3 years of related experience. Required to hold government clearance. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Must have a strong understanding of PC Applications and be proficient using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, other Microsoft applications, Oracle or similar WMS systems.
Must be quality driven with an exceptional attention to detail
Individual must be organized and can work independently.
Able to multi-task and handle multiple projects or tasks at one time.
Must have excellent communication skills and customer service as this position will be dealing directly with our customers.
