OFRO supports PwC's market facing activities by enabling client engagement teams to more effectively assess and manage risks in order to facilitate the profitable delivery of our products and services.

Our Quality Review and Monitoring team promotes and monitors compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures, and thus helps manage PwC's regulatory, litigation and reputational risk. The team is responsible for the oversight, completion and monitoring of day-to-day quality and compliance activities that support the Firm's shared responsibility strategy towards compliance and for determining accountability where issues may exist.

The One Firm Risk Organization’s QR and Monitoring team advances and fosters integrity based decision making and conduct. We promote and monitor compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures, and thus help manage regulatory, litigation and reputational risk. The team is responsible for the oversight, completion and monitoring of day-to-day compliance activities to support PwC’s shared responsibility and strategy towards compliance

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the importance of risk management and quality to the firm, including:

  • Understanding of risk management policies, as well as the engagement lifecycle and related policies and processes;

  • Leading or facilitating relevant project management or client consultations;

  • Exhibiting presentation, communication and listening skills to work effectively with engagement leaders and other engagement team members;

  • Demonstrating attention to detail;

  • Demonstrating commitment and persistence to follow through on issues to get to the right answer;

  • Performing engagement compliance reviews;

  • Having willingness to learn risk management, quality and independence policies and guidance, and the application of these policies and guidance to new strategies, services and related initiatives;

  • Utilizing client service engagement-related knowledge with working alongside the team and firm-wide leaders; and,

  • Reviewing engagement documentation and communicating with engagement leaders as needed.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Working independently, and collaborating with a network of client service and internal professionals toward the quality completion of projects while keeping supervisors apprised of progress;

  • Multi-tasking and concurrently completing multiple tasks at the same time;

  • Comprehending technical rules and regulations and communicating in everyday language;

  • Generating innovative ideas on how to grow and expand team operations and developing processes so that the team may function more effectively and efficiently;

  • Managing and supervising multiple staff; and,

  • Prioritizing multiple, concurrent activities that balance the need between supporting staff and completing their own responsibilities.
