Job Description:

GENERAL SUMMARY:Responsible for accurate and timely processing of donations, including receipt and tribute generation. Performs Computer Operations database entry and maintenance, including updating donor information, letter generation, contribution reports and mailing list preparation. Maintains donor files and miscellaneous duties as requested by the Vice President of Operations and Director of Computer Operations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Responsible for timely and accurate processing of donations, including receipt and tribute acknowledgement generation. Records proper documentation, electronic and paper, of donations. records, includes proper documentation.Generates reports and mailing lists based on selected criteria.Performs entry of lists, system changes and other data related tasks including maintenance of electronic donor files.Provides backup duties for team members as needed.Other duties as assigned.STANDARD QUALIFICATIONS:High School diploma and two years of college in Accounting and/or related field required.One to two years related experience in fundraising/development preferredOther Qualifications:Ability to manage complex responsibilities and multiple prioritiesWork in a deadline driven environmentAbility to work independently as well as part of a successful teamProfessional demeanor and ability to work successfully with colleagues, volunteers and other constituents of the Beaumont Health FoundationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPersonal characteristics associated with successful development professionals (i.e., integrity, team player, etc.) including sound judgment, demonstrated initiative, appropriate professional appearance, attitude and personality to deal effectively with staff and to lead volunteers and system constituentsKnowledge of Raiser's Edge preferredComputer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access required* Beaumont Health grants equal employment opportunity to all qualified persons without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, religion, genetic information, marital status, height, weight, gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran status, or any other legally protected category.
