Position Summary:

Red River is seeking an Operations Director to join our growing team! The Director of Operations to the CTO supports the Office of the CTO, which is responsible for technology strategy and innovation at Red River. To be successful, the Chief Technology Officer needs this position as a strong resource to support processes and operations to support all aspects of the Office of the CTO.

Primary Position Tasks:

  • Define and manage specific processes related to OCTO member participation in solution development, innovation workshops, customer advisory boards, industry event participation, and speaking engagements

  • Serve as liaison to Business Operations, Services Operations, IT, and various operations teams in other major Red River business units (e.g. Consulting Services, Design Engineering)

  • Contribute to management of budgets related to Research & Development, labs, innovation centers, and general operations for OCTO.

  • Facilitate enhanced lines of communication and collaboration between the CTO and stakeholders across Red River to ensure efficient use of the CTO’s time as a resource to stakeholders, such as Sales, Consulting Services, and Executive Leadership. This includes assisting with the CTO’s participation in Red River’s National Sales Conference, annual meeting, Board of Directors meetings, various quarterly business reviews and summits.

  • Provide governance for processes and content repositories related to Sales Enablement, ensuring availability of the proper content to support sales’ efforts to sell Red River solutions.

  • Maintain an interlock between the CTO and other members of the C-Suite to ensure there are no gaps in scope and deliverables.

  • Other business duties as assigned

Minimum Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Formal training and experience in business process management, particularly with respect to process development, documentation, and optimization.

  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, SAP Business Object, or other business intelligence platforms

  • Past performance associated with managing partner relationships in the technology industry

Preferred Education/Certification/Experience:

  • ITILv4 familiarity

  • Knowledge of government contracting fundamentals

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft SharePoint

  • Intermediate knowledge of finance and budget principles, particularly with respect to managing operating and capital budgets

Essential Elements (Mental; Physical; Equipment used):

Requires a strong work ethic and communication skills. This position will be required to communicate and present through video teleconferencing equipment.

This position requires the ability to continuously communicate with co-workers throughout the day utilizing Red River approved and/or provided communication tools and equipment.

This position is an office position that requires remaining in a stationary position for multiple hours throughout the work day.

Special Requirements:

This candidate will operate from a Red River office or approved remote location with occasional travel to customer and partner sites.
