The Wet Lab Services Group (WLSG) provides internal wafer processing services, supporting the exciting development of new products. We are seeking self motivated, detail oriented individuals for our team. Members will be responsible for operating wet processing equipment and furnaces.
Plan and schedule the work
Use manufacturing execution system to perform lot scheduling and status reporting. Generate and communicate status reports as needed.
Maintain communication with customers throughout the processing effort. Contact internal customers as needed. Follow through with action items and communicate progress to customers.
Process the materials
Closely check each submitted request to make sure that the system database has correct details. Perform lot start verification. Maintain integrity of work being processed at the furnaces and wet benches
Operate wet processing equipment (Full personal protective equipment (PPE) and face shield during handling of chemicals required)
Operate oxidation furnaces. Load and unload process equipment, initiate system operation and monitor status.
Assess inline process quality and ensure compliance to process specifications. Inspect and sort wafers at various stages of the wet labs manufacturing processes using metrology/sorting tools such as unpatterned wafer defect inspection systems, film thickness measurement systems and other measurement equipment. Assist in running etch rate studies, trace metals analysis and metals contamination qualification studies.
Package and label wafers in accordance to cleanroom protocols. Prepare materials for shipment, coordinate interplant transportation.
Provide materials (wafers and other spare parts) handling and coordination for building-to-building transportation, lot tracking, and data management
Monitor and support equipment and work areas
Qualify equipment upon startup. Perform adjustments or minor services as needed to enable equipment performance to meet requirements.
Ensure all wet benches maintain the correct levels, temperatures, and concentrations of the required chemicals
Perform manual fills with single or combinations of chemicals on wet benches
Provide recipe management and new recipe creation.
Provide maintenance support for furnaces and, trouble shoot furnace diagnostic problems. Interact with suppliers and facilities personnel for preventative maintenance, equipment service and scheduled shutdowns
Manage furnace and wet equipment consumables such as quartzware, paddles, process carriers, filters, chemicals, tanks, wands, and other materials. Manage inventory of wafers. Update consumables log and report status as required.
Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness in accordance with cleanroom protocols. Prevent contamination of products and work areas.
Perform safety audits.
Mentor other employees and train new hires as required.
Support overtime as needed.

Ability to handle and pour hazardous chemicals associated with semiconductor processes
Familiarity with the function of various wet processing equipment is a plus.
Required Skills / Knowledge
- Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
First and Second Shifts, Monday - Friday (United States of America)
Overtime available on Saturday and Sunday

(T1) 0-3 years of wet lab experience, ideally with a background in semiconductor chemistry and chemical mixing
(T2) 3-5 years of wet lab experience with a background in semiconductor chemistry and chemical mixing
(T3) 7+ years, lead operator wet lab experience with a background in semiconductor chemistry and chemical mixing
(T4) 8+ years, supervisor, highly skilled technical role or equivalent experience with a background in semiconductor chemistry and chemical mixing
