OPS Research Assistant
The UF College of Nursing seeks a part-time (0.50 FTE - 10-20 hours per weeks) OPS Research Assistant to provide support to the program of research for the College of Nursing Pilot grant. The Research Assistant will assist study investigators with recruitment and retention and facilitate efficient study management which involves screening and scheduling for research participants (nurses from UFHealth Shands hospital) and assistance in data collection and management (e.g., obtaining informed consent, administering questionnaires, submitting audio-recordings for transcription service).
$12 per hour; commensurate with education and experience
High school diploma and one year of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate is personable, enthusiastic about research and is willing to commit 1 year to the position. Prior work experience in research and/or healthcare. Clear and strong verbal and written communications skills. Advanced proficiency and fluency in the Microsoft software series. Ability to use equipment/hardware: desktop/laptop computer, tablet, audio-recorder, and copier/scanner/fax.
