As this framework is new post-COVID-19 pandemic, it may also change over time.AlixPartners requires COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment for this position, subject to reasonable accommodation.What you'll doIn this important role on AlixPartners' Corporate Services Organizational Development team, you will serve as an internal consultant, advising Firm leaders and hiring managers to make thoughtful selection decisions based on a comprehensive integration of our behavioral interviews and assessments. Through this holistic and intentional understanding of candidates' experience, expertise, workstyle, preferences, abilities, and aptitudes, you will counsel the business on how to support, empower, and retain top talent, as well as tending to our employees directly in confidential developmental discussions. Additionally, you will work on diverse and engaging projects to drive our internal continuous improvement efforts.The OD Assessment Senior Specialist is a full-time role located in Southfield, Michigan, and reports to the OD Assessment Lead. Paid relocation is not available for this position.Candidate AssessmentResearch, probe, survey, and ask questions of business partners and hiring managers to thoroughly understand hiring needs; revisit content regularlyConduct structured behavioral interviews of candidates across levels, exploring past behaviors and probing for additional evidence and context to support claimsInterpret and summarize candidate assessment results into accurate, articulate, and well-integrated reportsCommunicate hiring recommendations, risks, and suggested action steps to leadership, both verbally and in written formPartner with talent acquisition, hiring managers, business partners, and firm leaders to inform hiring decisions and assist in related activities (e.g., conducting needs analyses, analyzing job requirements, and linking to candidate results)Provide developmental, actionable assessment insights directly to former candidates and new hires as part of the onboarding and acclimation experienceProject WorkParticipate in and eventually manage continuous improvement projects internally within the Assessment team (e.g., job analysis, process improvement efforts, report management and distribution procedures/tools)Assist in the design and delivery of holistic OD-wide solutions, offering psychological and Assessment expertise (e.g., leadership program design, occasional webinar hosting)Data AnalyticsCollect, manage, and analyze secure, highly confidential data to support People Team initiativesSupport ad-hoc requests from the business to provide evidenced-based suggestionsAdditional responsibilities as identified.
