Job Duties:

to join our Private Cloud, Hotdocs, OfficeTools, and support team. The Tier 1 Help Desk is responsible for providing support to users ensuring proper request fulfillment, client satisfaction and training to users.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide client support and technical issue resolution via ticketing system, e-mail, and phone for the Virtual Server Environment
  • Follow standard ADS Support procedures; accurately log tickets using approved tracking software and methods
  • Communicate regularly with other team members about technology issues affecting systems operations and client workflow/production
  • Communicates in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to meet company's SLA's
  • Learn fundamental operations of supported software, hardware, and other as job requires
  • Work with other team members to propagate knowledge to the entire team
  • Complete other duties, projects and scheduled tasks as assigned
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of client's equipment to connect via Internet/Remote Services
  • Configure and troubleshoot hosted applications
  • Specialize in specific areas of cloud & Microsoft technology
  • Provide training to clients in the use of system and applications and best practice workflows
  • Obtain understanding of operating systems and application operations related to offered services
  • Provide creation of new accounts using provided software tools
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission, and values in all interactions with customer, co-workers and vendors
  • Adhere to all company policies and standards
  • Additional requirements may be added by Director of Client Services
  • This position requires reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and from the call center with some late nights and some weekends
  • This position may require on-call shift and weekend shifts
  • All prospective employees that are interested in this position must pass a background check with communication with references to verify success for position
  • Accountable for the on-time implementation and execution of project deliverables
  • Meeting support metrics based on SLA's set by management team
  • Accountable for accurate and on-time reporting essential for Admin Engineers and organization effectiveness
  • Achievement of strategic objectives defined by company management
  • Accountable for the following policies and procedures utilizing best practices across ADS environment

Qualifications:

  • At minimum 2-year college degree or technical school training preferred; Information Systems, Information Technology
  • Experience with help desk support software and ticketing systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced technical knowledge in areas such as Windows Server, Network topologies, Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365
  • Experience with virtualization technology including Microsoft Hyper-V and Microsoft Terminal Server
  • Working knowledge of Network Security technologies (SSL/TLS, VPNs, Firewall, IDS/IPS)
  • Strong customer service experience and attention to detail
  • Proficient understanding of Windows operating systems and core technology
  • Deep understanding of Windows Server2012 and 2016 environments
  • Ability to follow directions thoroughly while also identifying potential areas of improvement
  • Experience with tax and law software preferred
  • Experience with application hosting or SaSS preferred
  • Past Data Center experience a plus
  • Requires credentials or equivalent experience which demonstrates knowledge of technical environment, knowledge may be substituted
  • Preferred but not required Network+, Security+ or other equivalent certifications
