BAE Systems is seeking an Photolithography Engineer to join the Advanced Microwave Product Center (located in Nashua, NH).

In this role, you will help drive process improvements for our photolithography process tools including steppers, mask aligners and coat/develop tracks. In your daily activities, you will work to sustain production processes and tools in the photolithography area of a III-V semiconductor wafer foundry. You will be responsible for making continuous process improvements using DOE methodologies, implementing SPC controls for yield improvement, and driving cycle time and cost reduction projects to completion. Responsibilities also may include qualifying new tools for production including documentation and training/certification of operators as well as working with our engineering groups on new technology development. Multi-tasking is expected in our fast-paced environment with delivery commitments to both internal and external customers. A strong background in photolithography processes as related to III-V materials is preferred.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • BS in a semiconductor related field and 8+ years of work experience; or a MS in semiconductor related field and 6+ years of work experience; or a PHD and 4+ years of work experience in semiconductor related field
  • Hands-on experience in III-V semiconductor processes
  • In-depth knowledge of photolithography including projector stepper systems, mask aligners and coat/development tracks
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform job functions in wafer foundry clean-room environment


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience in photolithography processes including process control, process improvement and new process development
  • Hands on experience with Ultratech Stepper Systems, Neutronix Mask Aligners and SUSS coat/develop tracks, preferred if related to GaAs and GaN wafers
  • Experience qualifying new equipment for production including tool spec/selection, installation and qualification
  • Experience with DOE, SPC, GR&R
  • Experience with JMP software
  • Experience with PROMIS software
