Platform SRE Lead
As a Barclays Platform SRE Lead, you will be working in a rota aligned with US daytime/early evenings. This great opportunity where you will try and understand the existing Operational process and relook this through an automation angle and bring in expertise and service reliability engineering concepts into practice by pitching changes/upliftment or transformation of systems/ processes. The role provides exposure to leading edge software technology and underlying platforms operating mission critical services to the group.

What will you be doing?
\* Engaging in and improving the whole lifecycle of services platform operations by working closely with Development Teams and liaising from dev to produce
\* Supporting EDI Services such as iProcess/Businessworks/jBPM and RedHat PAM and contributing to the follow the sun model for platform coverage
\* Maintaining services that are live and implement/use measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health
\* Scaling systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation; evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity
\* Actively fostering a close working relationship with colleagues in the Barclays and vendor support teams
\* Actively participating in creating value added innovative solutions and feature enhancements to the NoOps platform application
\* Doing implementation of automation architecture, which involves infrastructure automation, service automation and automation of application build
\* Enhancing and maintaining existing Tools for Monitoring and Process Automation to help EDI Team efficiently cater to the infrastructure stakeholders
What we're looking for:
\* Demonstrable experience of having worked in Technology Operations environment with global /local teams with contributions to the overall stability and reliability of systems
\* Prior experience of working an Operational Team supporting Business Process Management products either TIBCO iProcess/jBPM/RedHat PAM or any other vendor products and willing to adopt new technologies
\* Demonstrable Experience in Incidence Management and Change execution in a regulated environment
\* Experience with TIBCO iProcess/jBPM/RedHat PAM
Skills that will help you in the role:
\* Exposure to AWS/Azure Cloud Architecture
\* Broadcom Operational Intelligence tools
\* Open Source AiOps platforms/projects such as OpenLog/Prometheus/Grafana etc
\* Ansible/Chef or other Infrastructure as a Code implementation
