Product Analyst, Value Analytics
Overview of Position
The Product Analyst is responsible for ensuring that product requirements are appropriately reflected and implemented in a finished product within the Value Analytics Portfolio. The Product Analyst is the main liaison between product management and the engineering team. Additionally, the Product Analyst is an expert on the functionality of a specific product; as such, he or she often supports other groups such as sales, engineering, implementation, marketing, and technical support/customer service.
The Product Analyst works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Contributes to Product Vision and Roadmap
Guides the design, development and documentation of system process workflows and various implementation activities that deliver business solutions required of the business
Oversee the product as it is being built, enhanced, or remediated by development/engineering
Ability to interface with stakeholders to elicit and prioritize market/business problems as well as functional/system requirements
Collect, coordinate, and prioritize product backlog
Collecting business requirements from key buyer audiences and end users
Write and present product requirements that include detailed and measurable acceptance criteria
Coordinate the creation of product mockups and prototypes
Coordinate testing of a product, including user acceptance testing, alpha and beta programs
Performs functional acceptance testing of development deliverables to verify they meet the business and functional requirements
Document Analysis to ensure existing systems documentation is kept up to date
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders during the development of a product
May coordinate activities of other personnel
What are the requirements needed for this position?
5+ years healthcare and technology experience
What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?
Excellent Functional/Non-Functional Requirements gathering skills using Empathy or 1:1 Interviews, Brainstorming/Focus Group/Survey Sessions, or Requirement Workshops required
Staying accessible to engineering to answer questions and maintain momentum
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate and partner with others effectively
Project management experience
Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn new systems and tools quickly
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
Experience with risk adjustment or value-based care highly preferred
Bachelors degree preferred, Masters degree a plus
Certification Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is a plus
Experience working with Agile teams and JIRA preferred
Familiar with Google Cloud or other cloud computing products preferred

Up to 10 travel requirement
