Production Technician

Our client, a global, science-led biopharmaceutical business is seeking a Production Technician to join their growing team in Gaithersburg, MD. It is a 6-month long contract position with the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. The pay is $23 an hour with health benefits.

Job Responsibilities:

Set-up complex equipment, change over, clean and maintain relevant, critical operating equipment to enable the smooth running of the plant.

Diagnose and take steps to resolve equipment/product quality issues to ensure the continued smooth running

Deliver training, development and mentoring of new starters and existing team members.

Comply with Good Manufacturing Practice, Safety Health & Environment and AstraZeneca standards.

Qualifications:

B.S. in Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology preferred

Familiar with all aspects of manufacturing (upstream and downstream processes)- preferred

Quick-learner; team player; good communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
