Job Description
Do you have experience installing car audio and or electronics, assembling retail equipment, residential / commercial electrical work, or mechanical drawing? Do you have a STEM background or vocational training? If so, this may be the job for you!

In this role, you will assist in:
  • Installation of network, Electronic Security Systems and Audio Visual Multi-Media cable plant infrastructure and equipment. Personnel will be required to wear PPE (hard hats, safety glasses, vests and steel toes boots) at all times and observe all work site safety requirements. Personnel will be required to work on ladders, lift equipment up to 50 lbs., and provide personnel hand tools for work efforts.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings for fabrication and installation of communication, network, and security systems.
THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION. Contract is expected to start 2/12/2023 and end 7/31/2023. This position is located in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. There is no relocation assistance available for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to Carlisle, Pennsylvania or surrounding areas.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
High school diploma and 2 years of related experience OR Associate degree in Engineering
Active secret security clearance and ability to maintain
Mechanical aptitude and experience with a range of hand and power tools
Ability to frequently work in an sitting, standing, or walking position
Ability to frequently lift and carry 10 pounds and occasionally lift and carry 50+ pounds
Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and work with hazardous material
Valid U.S. state driver's/operator's license or permit
Basic operational skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook and Excel

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and instructions
Soldering and cable fabrication experience
Metal fabrication and assembly experience
Fiber / BICSI / NAVSEA Certifications
Networking / Audio / Visual / Teleconferencing experience
Commercial / Residential Electronic Security System experience
Commercial / Residential electrical or mechanical experience
OSHA 10/30 hour course (Maritime or General Industry)
Fall Protection Training for working at height
