Program Managers at Change Healthcare collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure initiative, project, and/or release completion as planned and within budget. They follow consistent processes and use enterprise tools that adhere to the Change Healthcare Product Development Life Cycle.

This position is full-time and can be based remotely.

What will I be responsible for in this job?

  • Partner with delivery, operations and business teams to ensure Product Development Life Cycle milestones are established and met across Strategy, Execution, Launch phases
  • Monitor adherence to Product Development Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle tactics and tools
  • Govern and track initiative milestones, owners, status, risks, spend, and timelines
  • Engage with initiative stakeholders to raise awareness and mitigate identified risks
  • Maintain financial control by tracking actual to planned spend by analyzing team burn rate, accruals, outstanding work, and remaining funding
  • Support funding activities by ensuring estimations encompass the full scope of activities required to deliver an initiative
  • Maintain initiative status dashboards and reports
  • Prepare and deliver frequent initiative execution updates to key stakeholders
  • Be open minded, flexible, agile, and solve problems with ambiguous requirements and minimum directions under constantly evolving environments

What Are The Requirements Needed For This Position?

  • 5+ years in software product delivery management or program/project management

  • Bachelors degree in business, computer science, project management, finance, or accounting

What are the critical skills required?

  • Project management knowledge areas, tools, and tactics
  • Budgeting and finance concepts
  • Experience with agile delivery methodologies such as SCRUM
  • Microsoft Excel, Aha!, and Jira expertise
  • Exposure to software commercialization processes that ensure software is ready to support and sell
  • Familiarity with user research techniques such as design thinking
  • Strong organization, writing, presentation, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of software constructs
  • Foundational knowledge of the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC)

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Print and Digital communication experience

  • Healthcare/Insurance experience

How much should I expect to travel?

  • 5-10
  • Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
