Job Description:
Coordinates and manages the scheduling of new student orientations
for the MBA Programs. He/she will work in conjunction with the
Assistant Director of Engagement to ensure timely creation and
distribution of orientation schedules and secure room
reservations/venues for orientation content, leadership strategies,
and team building. He/she will manage the reservation of parking
and lodging for special guest/events when necessary. He/she will
manage the creation of MBA Connect course sites each semester and
ensure they are published prior to onboarding.
Collaborates within the team to identify key dates for student
programming. Additionally, he/she will manage all aspects of event
registration, including creation of event registration pages and
assisting with tracking registrations. He/she will also keep
accurate records of event attendance and create a streamlined
process for management of this information.
Assists in the creation and management of the Salesforce Community
cohort groups and pages. He/she will manage the timely creation of
new groups and auditing of student access.
Works directly with Events Manager and student affairs engagement
team to execute events. He/she will provide support at events and
engage with students, alumni, and other key stakeholders. He/she
will also manage the ordering and inventory of event-related
supplies and materials.
Utilizes survey platforms like SurveyMonkey and Qualtrics to create
surveys for data collection and works with Assistant Director of
Engagement to distribute. He/she also collaborates with survey
platforms to ensure timely registration of student experience entry
and exit surveys. Additionally, he/she may assist in the
compilation of general survey results.
Collaborates with Assistant Director of Engagement to determine
promotional item needs for the program. Works with vendors to
secure quotes and product availability. In conjunction, he/she will
work with Marketing and Communication Services to ensure
appropriate use of branding. He/she will also manage the inventory
of items and communicate when re-orders are necessary and/or the
availability of products and will track expenditures in the
budget.
Manages the collection of contracts, receipts, invoices, and
paperwork as they relate to any expenses. He/she will track
expenditures via the appropriate budgets and work with fiscal
personnel.
Expected Salary:
$39,000 - $43,000 Commensurate with experience.
Minimum Requirements:
A master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a
bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two
years of appropriate experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidate must possess exceptional organizational skills, be a team
player, and be able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Experience in student events, Salesforce, web design, event
registration, strategic planning, and project and data management
is preferred. He/she will possess strong interpersonal skills, be
strategic, tech savvy, and communicate effectively. Professional
demeanor, willingness to learn, and ability to provide prompt
customer service via phone and email is a must.
