Chemist runs analytical instrumentation and wet chemistry techniques on all raw materials before they are used in production.
Have to clear specific specs in order to be used.
Perform main Lab techniques: Wet Chemistry, titrations, UV vis, IR, HPLC and GC.
The primary purpose of the QC Analytical Chemist is to provide support to the Production and Formulations Departments by analyzing pharmaceutical and/or cleaning samples.
Support will be provided by analyzing samples using various procedures including, but not limited to, internal procedures, specifications, and analytical methods; compendial monographs, client procedures, research procedures, and miscellaneous protocols.
The QC Analytical Chemist is expected to understand internal procedures and reliably conduct analyses with minimal supervision after training.
Skills & Qualifications:
B.S. chemistry, biochemistry, biology or related life science field.
0-2 years of chemistry experience working with HPLC instrumentation.
Any experience working with Empower software is a plus.
