**Securitas Security is currently hiring Security Officers for the Principal Financial Group Campus in Downtown Des Moines!**
+ **Full-time & Part-time**
+ **2nd & 3rd Shift Available**
+ **Reception Desk Positions**
+ **$17.00-$18.00 per hour (depending on position & experience)**
+ **$1,000 BONUS! $500 after 6 months & $500 after 1 year **** This bonus is only available for this location. Will be discussed further during hiring process**

+ Must have a professional demeanor
+ Must have strong customer service skills
+ Must be able to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
+ Must be able to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
+ Must be able to pass a company and State background check and drug screen
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ High School Diploma or GED Required
+ Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English
+ Previous Security and / or Customer Service experience preferred
+ Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel
+ Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process
+ Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
+ Prepares logs and reports as required Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
+ Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization
