JSG is seeking a Recruiter to work for a client in Wilmington DE. Our client is a major chemical company and there could be the opportunity for growth with our client. This is not a remote opportunity

Analyzes, coordinates and delivers internal and external sourcing, recruiting, and selection systems and programs. Analyzes staffing needs of organizational personnel such as managers, supervisors, plant or office workers, other employee groups and contingent labor. Formulates and delivers plans, procedures and programs to meet specific staffing needs and problems. Develops and compiles staffing training manuals and other staffing aids; delivers training to organization. Monitors and reports the effectiveness of staffing efforts. Researches new staffing techniques and suggests enhancements to existing staffing programs. May recruit/staff for select target groups.

Talent Acquisition is seeking to add a member to its team! The primary role of the successful Candidate will be recruiting talent for non-exempt (High Volume) positions across a variety of locations/facilities in North America. The roles being recruited for are critical to operations and the production of products at manufacturing/production facilities. Generally, the positions being recruited for are operator, maintenance, laboratory and administrative type roles. The successful candidate may also be responsible for full life-cycle recruiting for interns and new graduate hires and must be able to manage competing demands, while being extremely adaptable and flexible to changing business requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Defining hiring needs w/ hiring organization / manager:
  • Conduct timely and effective intake sessions with hiring manager.
  • Define needs, set expectations and plan for selections / interviews.
  • Develop quality and effective postings - translating hiring manager job descriptions & needs into effective advertisements to attract finest talent.
  • Identify effective local sourcing strategies to support hiring a diverse slate of candidates.
  • Provide regular updates to the hiring manager, and/or partner with HR Business Partner as needed.
  • Screening & recommending candidates to hiring managers.
  • Develop effective prescreening questions and review resumes to match needs of the position/organization
  • As needed, manage candidates in in pre-employment, integrated on-line assessment process
  • Phone screen applicants when needed
  • Requires a highly organized and disciplined individual to execute recruiting in a high volume setting to meet/exceed expectations
  • Must be able to build outstanding relationships w/ Hiring Managers while influencing them on best practices
  • Use solid judgment and thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • May support other recruiting team activities as assigned/needed.
  • Comply with all employment laws/legal requirements.

 Qualifications - External To be considered for this position, you must possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 of years recruiting / similar industry experience
  • Demonstrated background in developing and executing recruiting process(s)
  • Demonstrated experience/knowledge with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Experience with Workday Recruiting – ATS system
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting, high requisition load environment
