Eurofins is searching for a Regional Sales Manager Battle Creek, MI

Regional Sales Manager responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Achieves annual sales plan and sales targets for assigned accounts.
  • Establishes nurtures and grows client relationships at the appropriate levels.
  • Develops account plans and partnerships with key accounts.
  • Provides weekly sales activity reports to management.
  • Develops client call cycle to achieve objectives and sales plan; Follows up on leads.
  • Provides general intelligence on key competitors.
  • Sells the business unit's capabilities and differentiation frameworks.
  • Recognizes and communicates sales opportunities for other business units.
  • Sets and manages customer expectations.
  • Collaborates with companywide resources to achieve superior customer satisfaction.
  • Organizes and hosts client visits.
  • Evaluates quotations for territory and provides inputs to ensure client and company requirements are met.
  • Responsible for Opportunity Management and accurate pipeline forecasting.
  • Assists in determining margins and pricing with Client Services.
  • Participates in proposal scope development as appropriate.
  • Maintains frequent personal contact with clients.
  • Participates in corporate teams to build relationships with key accounts.
  • Leads client presentations.
  • Supports transactional clients.
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
The ideal candidate would possess ::
  • Established relationships in the food production industry in Michigan
  • Previous sales experience in a services business
  • Experience in food safety testing
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail; excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications :
  • 6 years of experience in any of the following areas: food safety, quality assurance, microbiology, or chemistry
  • Valid drivers' license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel 50-60% of the time
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Position is full-time with overtime as needed. This will be a work from home position as the individual is expected to travel several times each week to meet with clients in the territory, Michigan, Northern Indiana and Northwest Ohio. The individual will be expected to build relationships with new accounts and drive growth within the first 90 days. Compensation will include a base salary and a bonus to be awarded based on achievement of sales objectives.
